Month 10

The month started with a bang as we all attended Finlays nursery firework display. Lewis was not phased by the loud bangs at all and both boys were rather too closely watching the fire jugglers swallowing fire for Annies liking anyway! Rene and Chris and Suzanne visited and all had a go at fire poi, inspired by the fire jugglers. Luckily no-one got singed! We went to Josephs 2^nd birthday party and Finlays friend Amy from Eagles 4^th birthday party. Lewis enjoyed playing with Hannah, Amy's sister who is 3 weeks older than him. We had a playdate with Lorna and Christina with a trip to the play park and also had baby Rebecca round to play. Lewis delighted in trying to crawl over Rebecca. We also had a trip to Scott Skinners pub with colleagues from Annie's old work. Lewis enjoyed sitting in his high chair and making a right mess. Lewis is now very mobile crawling everywhere very fast and pulling himself up on a furniture cruising along. Both boys had their photo taken at the nursery.

Lewis's skin is getting better with the use of Aveeno cream; avoiding dairy did not seem to make a difference so we are both back on dairy. So, Annie is enjoying her hot chocolates again. Unfortunately, Annie only found that she could go back on diary 3 days after manning a cake stall at our nursery Christmas fair. Imagine the torture of spending 2 hours selling over £200 worth of cakes and not being able to eat any of them herself.

This month we also had 12 solar photovoltaic panels fitted so are doing all our washing during the day, and finding it rather addictive seeing how much electricity we generate each day.
