Month 26

This month we had a trip to Forres to stay with John and Alison. We had a lovely time at Brodie Castle at the play park and the boys loved being fussed over. Both boys got stickers for their trip to the dentist for brushing their teeth so well. Lewis still only has 8 teeth, well he will certainly keep his milk teeth for a long time. Nik is doing a Quadrathalon in July so was away for the weekend training by walking up lots of hills. So Annie and the boys had a trip to the cinema and Satrosphere. As part of the training Nik did the Garioch half marathon dressed as Superman and Finlay did the kids race dressed at Spiderman. Think this dressing up whilst doing races may be running in the family literally. Annie on a more sedate note had 2 fiddle concerts getting in practice for a trip to Denmark for a folk festival later in the year.

Finlay decided he wanted a ‘How to Train a Dragon’ party for his birthday. So evenings were spent making kits for swords, wands, dragon piñata and of course a Dragon cake. Finlay's first comment on the cake was that it doesn’t have wings. This was quickly rectified and everyone was happy, and Annie was rather happy that there was step to step instructions on how to make a dragon cake on the Internet.

The Easter weekend was dampened slightly by the fact that Lewis has got chicken pox for the second time. However, a free infection service meant that we had a play date with the Bagueley's and Joseph got chicken pox a few weeks later so everyone was happy. We also had an Easter egg hunt at Lorna's. And as most of Lewis’s nursery pals also had chicken pox, and couldn't go to public events we had an Easter Egg hunt in our field. Lewis was very happy to have all his pals round.
