Month 32

As well as the return form the Dad’s camping at the beginning of the month, September was filled with events for Aberdeen’s Technology Festival. Annie was running a number of events during the Tech Fest to do with her Bumble Bee and Mammal work, so Nik and the boys kept themselves amused at the various other attractions, including musical instruments from recycled waste materials.

In one of the parks various crafts and alternative art projects had been set up. The boys played a game of giant chess, Lewis and Finlay played “hook the duck” where Finlay was the duck! The built hedgehog dens and sculptures with the RSPB and played animal safari pitch and put.

Later in the month we went to Aden Country park for the tractor festival and ploughing championships. Here Lewis found a tractor that was the perfect size for him and they both made scarecrows. We also went to JoJo’s birthday party and the Hatton-of-Fintray Sheltie Stakes, where they race Shetland ponies!

All cozy in our tent on the Dad's Camping trip.
