Month 15

Annie's folks arrived at the start of this month. We had a lovely outing to Hackley Bay, walking in from the north. The boys found the geocache we had located before and then had a great time playing on the beach and clambering over rocks. We then headed to the Lemon Tree for Annie's end-of-term SCAT fiddle concert.

Lewis had the rest of his jabs and let everyone in the surgery know he was getting them done, but a cuddle soon sorted him out.

We had a busy Easter weekend; we headed to Macduff to the aquarium, and Lewis was rather taken by the fishes. We went to Duff House and had a good walk and a trip to the play park and then deposited Annie's pirate Geocache "Travel Bug". We each have a pirate Travel Bug which are in a race to get to New Zealand. The competitive spirit kicked in and Nik set his Travel Bug going at Castle Fraser.

We had a trip down to Brechin to go on the Easter steam train and we all enjoyed a cream egg. We got off and walked to the House of Dun where they were having an Easter treasure hunt. Finlay loved finding bunny rabbits hidden around the grounds and the boys both loved playing peekaboo behind a hedge.

We had Jude's hamster Frankie to stay over the holidays. The boys were quite taken by him, unlike Granddad who kept referring to him as the rat!

The boys' nursery had an Easter party and they enjoyed decorating and rolling eggs and Finlay won a big fluffy rabbit for colouring an egg. We then went straight on to a birthday party with one of Finlay's nursery friends. We had an outing with Leah and Amy from Finlay's nursery class to Camperdown park in Dundee to see lots of animals and then fun in a great big sandy play-park. Also had two birthday parties at Hoodles for Thomas and then Eva. So two tired boys.
