Lewis's Blog (Month 16)
Month 16
Well lots of birthday parties for Finlay's nursery friends this month, so Finlay and Lewis have been kept very busy and both can be seen enjoying their party food.
We had a trip to a folk festival in Ullapool for Annie's birthday. The weather was fab and the snow was glistening on the mountains. The boys enjoyed a few sessions in the pub (musical session, I hasten to add!) and were very impressed when a group of singers sang "Lion Sleeps Tonight" for them.
Nik's folks were over and we had a trip to Duthie Park where McPuddock the frog has become a favourite of both Finlay and Lewis now. They are both loving using a kid's digital camera and adding funny things to the pictures, although as you can see Finlay and Lewis weren’t so keen to have their photo taken. We also had a day-trip to Stonehaven as Nik had a husky dog adventure that Annie had organised for Christmas. So the rest of us did a treasure trail around Stonehaven, a trip to the play park and an ice-cream.
A family photo opportunity saw the chickens joining in, what do they say never work with children or animals, so I suppose we broke both rules!
